Western AgCredit is excited to announce the release of new Mission, Vision and Values Statements. These statements supersede the Mission Statement, Public Mission Statement, and Core Values that the Association has been using for over 10 years.

An internal committee with representatives from every department drafted the new statements which were approved by the Board of Directors at the April 2012 Board meeting.

“The mission over the last 95 years, providing a dependable source of credit to agriculture, remains unchanged, but we felt like the published statements should better reflect this mission in a brief, easy to remember format,” said Richard Weathered, Western AgCredit President. “We are very happy with the product of the workgroup and believe it will pay dividends to Western AgCredit stakeholders for years to come as we use these statements as a guideline for future decisions.”
