Farmers Feeding Families Food Drive Underway

Western AgCredit is proud to sponsor the Farmers Feeding Families Food Drive going on now until October 14, 2016. The Western AgCredit branch receiving the most pounds of food will get $5000 for their local food bank. An additional $5000 will be distributed, based on donations, to the other food pantries each branch has selected to receive the food collected at their location. Matching funds will be contributed by Western AgCredit and CoBank.

“Western AgCredit is once again proud to sponsor the Farmers Feeding Families Food Drive and support the local communities where many of our members reside,” said Western AgCredit President David Brown. “Providing food and fiber to our fellow citizens is the basic mission of agriculture and provides an occupation and lifestyle that we value and enjoy. It is a privilege for us to join forces with agricultural producers and others to support the needs of our communities.”

Donations can be made at all Western AgCredit locations. Donations will go to benefit local food banks.
