In November of 2008, Lela joined the Roosevelt Branch as the branch secretary. Her duties include greeting customers, answering phones, taking loan payments, making deposits and doing reports. Lela enjoys the opportunity she has to meet the customers and keep busy with the work around the office.

Over the years, Lela has held several positions in the commercial banking industry including proof operator, teller, bookkeeper and loan officer. Throughout her career, Lela has received formal training in trusts, mortgages, insurance, lending and secretarial work.

Lela and her husband have four children, two that are still living. They also have three granddaughters. Lela was raised on a farm in the Uintah Basin, and she has also lived in Salt Lake City. Currently she and her husband run a farm in Roosevelt that they inherited from her sister and brother-in-law. In her spare time, Lela enjoys traveling and genealogy.
