In January of 1992, Matt began working for the Association as an internal auditor. Before his promotion to chief financial officer, Matt was the special assets manager. As CFO, Matt is responsible for managing the finance, accounting and operation functions of the Association.

Matt graduated from Utah State University with a degree in accounting. Before coming to work for Western AgCredit, Matt worked as a commissioned examiner with the Farm Credit Administration, the federal regulator for the Farm Credit System.

Originally from Logan, UT; Matt and his wife, Leslie, now call Highland, UT home. They are the parents of four sons. Matt grew up working on his family’s dry land wheat farm. Leslie’s family owns a cattle ranch, and the Jarretts enjoy spending time helping on the ranch when they get the chance. Matt also likes to spend time with his family, travel and ride 4-wheelers.
