Dick has served as the President of Western AgCredit since 1993. Prior to his appointment as president, he was Western AgCredit’s chief credit officer and vice president of lending services. For Dick, the best part about his job is associating with the stockholders the Association serves.
Dick was raised on a cattle ranch in Browning, Montana where they also raised hay and grain. He attended Montana State University, graduating with degrees in animal science and agriculture business. In 1981, Dick started a job with the Farm Credit System. For the first ten years of his career, Dick worked for eight different Farm Credits around the nation before joining Western AgCredit in 1992.
Dick and his wife, Mary Ann, have three children, two daughters and a son. Dick enjoys outdoor activities including riding ATV’s, fishing, hiking and camping. One day he hopes to fulfill a service mission to assist people less fortunate.
