In 1986, Rick started working for Western AgCredit as a loan officer. In January of 2012, Rick was promoted to Regional Vice President and Branch Manager of the South Jordan branch. In addition to his management responsibilities, his duties include marketing and servicing agricultural loans. Rick enjoys working with the other Western AgCredit staff members and his customers.

Rick graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in animal science. From 1989 until 1996, Rick worked in agriculture lending in the commercial banking sector, and he returned to Western AgCredit in 1996.

Rick grew up in Coalville, UT on a cow-calf operation, and Rick still runs a few of his own animals. Rick and his wife, Shana, live in South Jordan with their three children. Rick and his family enjoy horseback riding and spending time in the mountains. He also enjoys hunting, and one day he hopes to hunt wild turkeys and big horn sheep.
