Shirelle has been on the Western AgCredit Board of Directors since 2005. Currently she serves as the Chairperson of the Compensation Committee, Vice-Chairperson of the Audit Committee and as a member of the Planning Committee. Shirelle enjoys being part of an organization that continues to look for ways to improve processes.

Shirelle received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Westminster College and an MBA from Utah State University. She is a partner in the accounting firm Smith Powell and Company, LLC in Salt Lake City, UT.

Shirelle grew up in rural Idaho and lived on a church farm in Oregon. Shirelle has two children. In her free time she enjoys snowboarding, running, cycling and traveling.
