
Kim was elected to the Board of Directors in 2003. He currently serves as a member of the Corporate and Planning Committees as well as a member of the District Stockholders Advisory Committee. Kim enjoys the opportunity being a Director gives him to represent shareholders' interests and discuss the issues and financial challenges of agriculture.
Kim graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. After he graduated in 1982, he started farming, which he has been doing since. Kim grows alfalfa hay in Cache Valley, most of which is marketed to surrounding Western states. He also rotates crops with barley, silage corn, wheat and safflower.
Kim and his wife, Natalie, and their four children live in Newton, UT. Kim and his family enjoy camping, snowmobiling, snow skiing and supporting each other in their activities, especially lacrosse.
